Current Lion King

So I took some out of town friends to see the Lion King last night, and holy smokes were things off. The sound kept going out, and then at times, there was terrible feedback. We had an understudy, which I actually always love but this actor did not seem to know his lines or blocking. It is shameful that Disney charges as much as they do and could not check in that things are in tip-top shape from time to time.

Saw it a few months back for the first time and came away pretty unimpressed with the acting (especially) and the vocals.

Not surprised you had a similar experience, though the sound issue is pretty inexcusable independent of the current deficiencies with the cast.
