Current RENT tour rush?

Posted: 5/1/08 at 6:39pmI'm assuming the current tour DOES have the $20 rush tickets policy, but since I haven't heard anything about it, I just wanted to clarify. So, anyone? Yes/no/maybe? Haha.

actually i've been to two different stops on the current tour. both offered the $20 front row seating.. but i would call the box office to make sure.. although i think that policy is set up by the show.

Posted: 5/2/08 at 1:56pmI think it's set up by the show, too. I actually just called the box office and they did confirm that they're doing the $20 rush tickets. :) Though it was weird... she told me that we're not allowed to line up any sooner than 2 hours before... hm.

Posted: 5/3/08 at 9:02amWhen the tour was here, they said on the website that they would be doing the lottery-type rush, but sort of last minute they decided to go with a first come, first served type rush. They gave coupons and you had to come back like an hour before show time to get the actual tickets. They started giving out the coupons at 4 for an 8:00 show. You should call the box office to see exactly what they are doing.

Posted: 5/3/08 at 9:28amEvery stop has rush. The tour tech rider stipulates that. How it is implemented is up to the venue. Most of the theatres choose to do a line but a few do lotto. Your best bet is to check with the box office very close to the first day the tour is there. Anything earlier than that and they probably won't know the details.
