Cute Duets? I know this had been asked a bigazillion times before, but I searched and couldn't find any recent entries. Me and my friend want to try out for a revue together - the way the choral director has it we will most likely NOT get in the song we tryout with, just how it's run.

Anyway, she's an mezzo-alto and I'm an alto-contralto and we would like something cute and upbeat, something showing off theatrical skills (I'm more and actress who sings, but I do have a better voice than I did and I want to show it off) AND Vocal skills (She's more a singer who does musical theatre). ALready been done are: Sisters, Bosom Buddies, If Momma was married, Friendship. I know it sounds like a lotta criteria, but it's not really. Just a solid musical theatre song.

ARE THERE ANY LEFT? HELP! Thanks in advance!

If Momma was Married-Gypsy
I second What You Don't Know About Women
There's also a song from the show 'Is There Life After High School?' called "Fran and Janie"

I Know Him So Well-Chess (not that upbeat, but very pretty!! re: re: re: Cute Female Duets (old and tired, i know))

If you wanted to transpose the Sideshow duets to a lower key it could work, but sounds like they'd be too high as they are.and i guess neither of those are really peppy....

"Take him" from Pal Joey.

A sweet, pretty (but not necessarily cute and funny) duet is "We Make a Beautiful Pair" from Shenandoah.

"Knock knock" "Who's there?" "Control freak--now you say 'control freak who?'"

Is there any reason two girls can't sing Cole Porter's "Your the Top"?
