Has anyone been to the Cyrano stage door recently? Is it still so chaotic that one should try to leave during curtain call, or have things become more organized?

Also, I seem to remember someone saying that you had to see that specific performance to be allowed into the area to get signatures, but I tried searching and couldn't find that reference. Am I mis-remembering, or is that in fact the case?

I recently did the stage door for Cyrano and yeah it was packed. I went Dec. 29 8pm. I didn't want to leave during curtain call so I stayed. Bad choice-It was nothing special and I was behind the whole crowd. Jennifer Garner signs very few things but is very nice. Daniel Sunjata and Kevin Kline both did not come out. Somehow my poster got to the front, she signed it and I got it back. It was a really nice crowd. She comes out rather quickly. Oh yeah, and Ben Afflek was also there but did not sign anything.

It's not really "chaos" per se...just a lot of people. Garner is terrific - on stage and off, but don't expect to see Kline. From what I've heard, Garner is out in a solid 10 minutes after the curtain comes down.

The "you have to have a ticket stub" applied to Julia Roberts, not Cyrano.

You'll have a blast ! the show is great, but I definitely advise that you leave early like during Curatin Call, so youll have a great spot on stage dooring.. have your camera ready (if you have one ) Enjoy and Happy Stage Dooring ! re: Cyrano stage door?

Thanks for the tips! I hope it's not too crazy this weekend (although it probably will be). I'm a little disappointed to hear that Daniel Sunjata and Kevin Kline did not come out.

I stage doored at the November 4 show, and I left after curtain call. Contrary to what others have said, I was easily ably to get to the front by going behind the further set of barricades. The other side was very crowded though. Jennifer Garner was very gracious, and signed everyone's items. She did did not take pictures because she said said she was in a rush to leave. Daniel Sunjata came out, but Kevin Kline did not come out, which was no surprise. Good luck!
