PETER PAN with Mary Martin and Cyril Ritchard was my very first Broadway show. I also saw Ritchard and Anthony Newley in the musical THE ROAR OF THE GREASEPAINT, THE SMELL OF THE CROWD--an under-appreciated show. I believe it is still available on Amazon.com. Also mentioned in the commercial was the musical FANNY which starred Ezio Pinza, Walter Slezak, and a very young Florence Henderson who sings beautifully. How about a revival of FANNY, if not on Broadway then at least at ENCORES!? The score, by Harold Rome, is amazing. Then maybe it could transfer to Roundabout. Wishful thinking.
