I think it's a safe bet that she won't be in this production. She stated only a week ago that her next project is doing an out of town try out this fall, set to open next year, so unless they had an out of town tryout planned, but axed it within the last week, this isn't the show she's doing. (which bums me out because I had really been hoping out of the 4 shows she's been associated with in the past year, this would be the one she was doing.)

She had to be talking about Bandstand, but things also seem to happen very quickly on Broadway. This kinda came out of no where so maybe things changed!

She said it during an interview for her 54 Below show. Bandstand was my thought too, which I hope its better than it has initially sounded to me, I really was hoping for Dames at Sea, she was so cute when she was doing the workshop, and we need a show where she gets to dance more

I'm just super excited because I've never seen a production of it; and I didn't realize it hasn't been seen on a stage in New York for 30 years!

Well, it was originally an off-Broadway show with only a cast of 6 from what I've read, so it is designed to be a small, intimate production. They wouldn't want a big theatre for that.
