Can anyone who saw the DC Ragtime production let me know the runnning time. I think I remember broadway being 3.5 hours?

DC production I believe was 2 hrs. 45 minutes. No way was the original Broadway production 3.5 hours.

The original Broadway production was just under three hours. Forbidden Broadway hilariously parodied the running time during their Make Them Shoot You number ("It's getting near 11 and it's time to wrap things up. Make them shoot you...").

I'm told this production cuts a few minutes, so Dottie's running time seems accurate.

DC Ragtime running time was 3hrs 15 mins.

Broadwayjoe, I saw the DC production 7 times, and I'm sorry, but I don't recall it being over 3 hours.

I looked at my phone records as I made a call to a friend of mine as soon as I left the theatre and the DC production clocked in under 3 hours.

Me too. It was around 2 hours and 45 minutes every time I saw it.
