What is that one recording that you listen to that you don't like to mention to others because of the criticism? Mine is BOMBAY DREAMS. I love that cast recording.......so there. LOL. So, spill it.

The Glenn Carter/Jerome Pradon recording of Jesus Christ Superstar. Yeah, i know...Jerome Pradon can't sing, blah blah blah.

"Applause begets applause in the theatre, as laughter begets laughter and tears beget tears." CLAYTON HAMILTON, "Theory of the Theatre" "I think theater ought to be theatrical ... you know, shuffling the pack in different ways so that it's -- there's always some kind of ambush involved in the experience. You're being ambushed by an unexpected word, or by an elephant falling out of the cupboard, whatever it is." TOM STOPPARD

Guido Contini.......I own that one as well. Even though I don't listen to it much at all, I still think it is better than the original cast. BLAH!!!

THE SOUND OF MUCUS........

That friggin Goat song gets me everytime, not to mention that Do-Re-Mi one and the So Long Farewell one where the effeminate Von Trapp boy hits the high note.

I've listened to the Wicked cast album 3.5 times, trying to discern its appeal.

only 3.5 times Plum? Give it a spin for another .5, that should do the trick.

I would, Marquise, but it's not nice to break CDs. Especially when they belong to your sister.

The New Starlight Express

"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."

I popped in Wicked this morning, listened to Defying Gravity, and turned it off.

I also had to look over my shoulder while doing that.

But honestly, on a good day, I'll listen to 3 full songs. That's about all I can bear.

I'm ashamed to say I own the Mamma Mia! cast recording. BUT, I've never even put it in the CD player. Anyone want a free cast recording?
