DREAMGIRLS San Jose California

Anyone going to DREAMGIRLS this month? It opens on the 8th and closes the 25th. I think I'm gonna be ableto make it. It stars, ofcourse, Frenchie Davis, and is choreographed by Broadway vet Brenda Braxton (Somkey Joes, Chicago).

ok so does anyone know if this production is supposed to be the broadway tryout, kind like Wicked in San Francisco??

As of now, this tour has nothing to do with the prospective Broadway revival.

yeah thats what everyone is saying Bdwythtr but everyone knows that the performance will have an effect on the 'possible' broadway run. the whole show as well as some of the performers, namely, frenchie.

i wish the whole show the best.

I will be at the opening this Saturday. Will report in next week.

No real interest on Dreamgirls at the CPA, but can't wait for Millie tix to go on sale! :)
