DREAMGIRLS excerpt to premiere at Cannes

It has taken more than 20 years for the right combination of talents to come together. And that alignment of stars only happened last year when Foxx, Beyonce Knowles and Eddie Murphy all signed up. "The combination is electric", says Foxx, as we will discover for ourselves when some of it is screened at the Cannes Film Festival next month.


Jennifer Hudson and the gang wrapped yesterday, well early this morning, and the last scenes filmed were, "It's All Over/And I Am Telling You". My speculation of Jenn performing the song live was unofficially confirmed with a post on her myspace from a fellow myspacer who is on the cast/crew of the film by the name of Brie:

"DIVA!!! You were fierce tonight!!! Everytime you sang it gave me chills (I promise)...you're voice is so amazing. I never get tired of hearing you sing the same song over and over again...so sad tomorrow (actually tonight) is our last night What am I going to do without seeing you every day?? xoxoxo Love your 'Charles In Charge' Dreamgirl Diva!!"
