Hey all -

Greetings from NYC -

I went to see DRS with the new cast and I'm glad to report the shows gotten even better since I saw it last year!

There were some minor technical difficulties right before the intermission - I believe part of the stage got stuck as one of the maids was dusting scenery that wasn't there and the orchestra was looking pretty confused, they stopped the show briefly and returned for the last part of the scene before the intermission. The rest of the show proceeded without difficulty - except that Norbert and Jonathan couldn't stop laughing at adlibbing at parts! The audience was pretty receptive to this though!

Jonathan led (I believe) an Equity Fights Aids auction of something he drew and told us about some special merchandise before the evening ended.

My question though - I didn't have time to ask on Saturday but I would like to find the stage door tonight, say thank you to the cast and hopefully get my program signed.

Where do I go exactly?

And also what is the usual finishing time for the show? I got out at approximately 11pm but there was the stage problems and the auction which added time.

Any help is much appriciated!

The stage door is on 46th street, right next to the Tarzan stage door. You'll find it easily (I'm assuming the barricades are up). The curtain usually comes down at about 10:40.

yeah, if your leaving the orchestra, go right and out the doors, the stage door is on your right and as said, barricades should be up, enjoy the show!

Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.
Some guy: You looked great!
Idina: Thanks...I WAS SO HIGH! 8/21/05

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.

though Norber doesn't come out that door, he comes out another exit - to meet his gf I guess.

He should still come out that door. Usually Norbert comes out, signs autographs, goes back in, and then goes out the other door, presumably to meet up with his sig. other over at TDoR.
