DRS Review 2:00 5/20

Hello All!

This past Saturday I went to go see DRS with the music ensembles at my school. This was my second time seeing the show the last time I saw it was in February of 2005. Let me just say that It was even funnier the second time around. The musical numbers were great and got good reception each time, the showstoppers were Great Big Stuff, Oklahoma? and Dirty Rotten Number. Now on to the actors.

Jonathan Pryce: WOW! He was on at that performance, his comedic timing was great and he is a great singer. At the end of act one when he was Dr. Shuffhausen he made Norbert laugh because of the way he walked on stage which cause everyone in the audience to laugh even harder. I don’t understand how he couldn’t win the replacement Tony this year.

Nobert Leo Butz: He is still keeping his performance fresh each time. I’m still trying to figure out how he puts that much energy into 8 shows per week. Funny moment tin the show is when he half- mooned the audience. But my favorite part was when the audience was clapping after Dirty Rotten Number and he lifted his glass to the audience.

Rachel York: She has a really nice voice Here I Am was fantastic and her acting was also very good.

Gerg Jbrara: I Love this man so much so he can do no wrong in my books.

Rachel De Bendent: I really liked her and she has a beautiful voice. Dose anyone know what will happen to her after Lucy Ariz (sp?) comes in to take over for her?

Sara Gettelefinger: I’m really happy to see her back I loved her when I saw it for the first time. She seemed to be having a great time up there. I wish she could have had more time on stage though. Her squeal was great.

Ensemble: They were incredible Can’t think of any thing else to say about them
