Last time I was there was last April--do they have any new things that they're selling? I remember a signed poster was $100...do they now have any cheaper un-signed posters for the show? Program? Thanks.
They have the regular poster for $15 or $20. They have a few different tees: A black one that says "stolen property", a black one that says "hot item", a black one that says something like "dirty, filthy, rotten, yadda yadda guy like me" in the red DRS letters, they have a beige tee with the poster art on it, they have a babydoll tee in navy blue that says "nothing is too wonderful", i think they still have a beige babydoll tee that had passports on it.
They're also selling buttons: An orange one that says "Give me a HUMMER in my HUMMER", a navy blue one that says "get taken", and 2 light blue ones, one says "Ruprecht" and the other says "I'm with Ruprecht".
And the funniest souvenir on Broadway is......The Official Ruprecht Fart Jar!
I love the tee's and the buttons!!!! When I see the show I'm gonna buy so many effin' souveniers the ppl are gonna love me! (like the ppl at Wicked who also love me for buying a ton of merchandise!!!!!! ehheeheh yeah I'm a dork! Or Hairspray)
so if they have a program how is it? do they really have a fart jar?
Oh! I forgot about the program. It's really nice, each of the main 6 performers have 2 pages of pictures devoted to them and there are an extra 2 pages of Ruprecht-which I love! And best of all, it's only $10!
Are you calling me a liar? I wouldn't say they have a fart jar if they didn't. :) I didn't ask how much it was b/c I wasn't going to buy it.

The souvenier program is great! They also have magnets which I believe are $5. They have the jewelry that was featured on QVC. And they have David Yazbek's new CD "Tape Recorder: Collected Works" signed by him.
Does anyone know the reason why the don't sell merchandise anywhere else besides the theater. It seems like they could be making a lot more money by making it available elsewhere.... like online.

its issues of rights....MGM doesn't want the merchandise sold anywhere but the theater.

I have a button that says "I'm with Ruprecht" and I LOVE it! It's so much fun explaining it to people!
oh man, when i saw the show, i only got the program and CD, cuz it was SO CROWDED, and i didn't have enough time to see everything they had to offer! (cuz now i want a fart jar! haha!!)
are you allowed to just go in to buy stuff? cuz they don't check ur tickets until the doors to get into the theater, right?

awesome, thanks!
Ugh...so if MGM won't let them sell anything except at the theater, are they not selling online? I went to the show about a month ago on a saturday, and they were coming out with the souvinere paybills that upcoming Tuesday which pissed me off because I really wanted one. Anyone know if you can get one of those offline?

I've gone in twice now to buy merchandise - once 45 minutes before the show and once while the show was still going on. I felt so bad for the merchandise cart guy as he wasn't officially open both times. But he is SO sweet and graciously sold me my stuff. He even joked around with how I was making it harder on him by using a credit card.
As long as the merchandise guy is there, you can buy stuff from the cart.
Does anyone know his name by any chance? I feel so bad not knowing it, seeing as how I pester him so much.

I wasn't calling you a liar, I was just in excitement shock!
The magnet is great but the T shirt did nothing for me. I will pick up a button as I did not see it when we saw it
Wow thanks. I will be spending a crapload at the Imperial next week. Am I correct that they sell before the show and at intermission, as well as after? I hope because I'll be backstage afterwords.

They just got the tote bag in recently as well - I noticed it and commented that they had a new item and the guy said they had been out of them for a while. It's pretty nice but I don't use those types of bags.
I have the blue logo t-shirt, magnet, window card, program and love them all. The program is HILARIOUS!

Both times I went I sat in the last or second to last row of the theatre. $41.25 tickets and the view is still great - can't beat it!

this show's AMAZING. i sat 4th row front mezz. and, if ProducersFan loved it from sitting in the back, that means a lot. (to me, anyways, haha)
