DRS - box office or half-price ticket booth for Tickets?#0

I don't know exactly how this works, but if I want to get tickets for DRS (or any show for that matter) on the day of (if that's possible) would I be more likely to do so by going to the box office for cancellation tickets that morning or going much earlier that morning to the half-price ticket booth? From what I hear, corporate tickets that are canceled are NOT sent to the HPTB and are good seats that you can only get at the box office.
Some one help me out, please!
