Dale Soules, "Hair" and the craziest audition story EVER!

I chatted with Dale Soules about her work in the original Broadway production of "Hair" -- and why she auditioned for the show more than 20 times before getting the part!

We also talked activism (she protested the Vietnam War with the cast, and now fights for prison reform with the cast of "Orange is the New Black) and diversity.

Soules also introduced the beautiful ballad "Lion Tamer" in the Broadway production of The Magic Show, and was in the ill-fated Dude, which initially starred recently deceased Kevin Geer (who was replaced by a child actor, for some reason).
