Uptown Players produces some amazing shows.
And Doug is an outstanding director.
I'm glad you liked it!

I wasn't able to see their The Wild Party b/c I had a show with an identical run.

I am planning on auditioning for The Who's Tommy later in their season.

I absolutely loved this musical when I saw it at Lincoln Center. I found it deeply moving with a powerful score.

I find it troubling that a theatre review in this day and age would seem to be afraid of the word "homosexuality," especially when it plays such a huge part in the story. Is there a fear of frightening off Denver audiences if they knew what the show was *really* about?
