I do know that the two Great Dames-Judi and Maggie are now making a movie together in England called Ladies in Lavender...Soon after the filming is over she will probably come to Broadway.....

I had read somewhere that Dame Judi isn't coming with the show to NY, but I can't remember who is replacing her.

No, you're right, it is Dianne West.
The play is boring, the women are good. Afterwards it was great to meet Maggie Smith in the comfort of just fifteen other people at the stage door, on Broadway no doubt it is absolutely manic!

Dianne is one of my favorite actresses...as is Maggie Smith. I would prefer to see Dianne over Judi (not that Judi isn't good). Maggie Smith was at the opening night of Gypsy
