Didn't I hear/read a while back that the film version of Damn Yankees was released on DVD or was going to be released? Or am I just making that up? I can't find the DVD or any mention of it. I think I'm losing my mind. Just call me Sally Durant.

There was talk about doing a remake of it as a movie...but nothing has been said recently.

Are you talking about the original with Gwen Verdon? If so, you should be able to find it at any major video store or on Amazon

Here's hoping for its eventual release, but Damn Yankees is not currently available on DVD.

However, the VHS is available.

yes, i thought i had heard that the original with gwen verdon was released or to be released on dvd. but apparantly i was wrong, as i can't find it on amazon or any other distributor website. thanks.

Sorry, i thought it was out on DVD. Guess I was thinking of the vhs version I saw somewhere. Come to think of it, if had seen it available on dvd, I would have bought it. I love Gwen Verdon
