The Elgin/WinterGarden is run by the province as a heritage site so apparently there are rules about renting it out and stuff and they have so many other small commitments that it prevents it from being a permanent spot for one particular show (sounds silly to me as a business side but I guess its our gov't). It's similar to how Toronto Perf Arts was run before Dancap struck a deal.
I think Dancap in gen is fine cause they are producing a bunch of shows on Broadway that seem to be doing well. Now it's just how to get that clout into Toronto.
