NPG will be on Betty duty that night. She keeps me calm around Daniel...well...at least she *tries* to.

On his page on the JP site, it mentions that he's going to sing Cat Stevens. "Oh very young one" was one of my favorites from the Keansburg concert...I must've played it hundreds of times by now. Oy vey I can't wait!

I would love to go both days but I don't know if NPG would want to and I need her there with me. If I have to pick one it'd be the Monday night.

mimi...I'm not sure, but I don't think it is...only because I know people who went to Mano's concert at Joe's Pub and they aren't 21.

I've never been to Joe's Pub but there's no feckin' way they're keeping me from getting into this concert. I'll wear a t-shirt that says "I'm here for Daniel, not the happy juice!"

From the FAQ's on Joe's site:

Q: Is there an age restriction on the shows at Joe’s Pub?

A: Shows are open to all ages.
Please be sure young children can observe appropriate concert behavior.

Matt... What the feck is he up to now? It's a good thing I have Daniel so I'm not as sad about Matt being gone. Oh, and I had a dream about Adam last night lol. We moved into a cabin in the woods and he wrote me songs. Watch Star Wars before you sleep and dream of Adam Guettel...whatever lol.

Anyway, Daniel is da coolest.

I think they prefer you to do it through Telecharge. I just told them it was showing up on their calendar since last night and that Telecharge still didn't have it loaded in their system yet. It's happened to me before. I just got tired of waiting.

so, you were able to call joes pub and get tickets? just wondering, I'm calling and they said that they aren't available yet. I'm nervous, I don't want it to sell out before I get a chance to get tickets! ok, thanks!

I called this morning and it was a recording so I didn't think I could order that way then I called just a little while ago and the guy took my info and said they'd be waiting at the box office for me. The number you called is 212-539-8778, right?

Hm. I spoke to a woman when I called. She was very helpful and understanding when I told her Telecharge wasn't working.

Betty, there usually isn't someone there until sometime in the afternoon.

I wonder if I can pick them up next time I'm in the city...I want them in my possession lol. ...And if there happen to be any flyers laying around promoting the event...I shall take a couple..

Is that the number for Joes Pub? When I called telecharge they gave me a number for Joes Pub, but it was different than that one. I'll try that though, thank you!

betty...I am here!! I had to go to some court ordered counseling for custody. It was quite silly. Anyway, glad you got the tickets!!

swimming...glad everything worked out for you and hopefully we will see you there...
