Daphne Rubin-Vega and her band (DRV) have just started a MYSPACE page (run by a fan but monitored by Daphne and her band). So if you're a fan please join and get ready to start promoting the hell out of her new album which is going to be amazing!

I think it's funny that even though it says it is not run by the band, people comment saying "I'm so glad you made me a friend. You're my favorite actress." Like they're talking to her. :)

I guess they assume she'll read it.

The only time I've ever heard her music was live. I need to get her CD.

Well, I know most of DRV will read the Myspace and I'm pretty sure Daphne herself visits fansites and message boards (like this one) pretty consistently and the clips will be supplied by her so I guess writing her a personal message in the Comments isn't as ridiculous as it seems.

I just wish the person who runs it would change the background because it looks a little tacky.

I can't wait for the new album!

To be honest I had no idea that she was coming out with a CD, but after listening to that clip on her Myspace I am very excited to hear the rest. Thanks for posting!!

Funny how websites make for interesting bedfellows.

Myspace.com is now owned by Rupert Murdock the guy who also owns Fox News, the very right-wing cable network that many of the artists do not agree with.
