That´s not a voice for Fantine, she´ll destroy the role

I thought there had been mention of Eden Espinosa playing Fantine. What happened with that? She'd be a little more appropriate.

I have to admitt I am a big Daphne fan and cant imagine her as Fantine either.

I posted this on the other thread, but its worth repeating here. Daphne Rubin Vega apparently gave an extraordinary audition for Fantine. It wasn't a case of the production team just randomly selecting her.

She's not who I would have initially thought of, but I'm excited to see what she does with the role.

For a friend of Daphne's she should be great in the show...If you have seen her in all different roles you can see shes very veratile. I think she will do well and since they casted the show oddly with Norm Lewis and even gary Beach...it should be interesting. Just realize its only running for this six month stint..so with this celeb. cast they will sell out and make their money on the production.

Not a fan of hers, but they chose her for a reason. We will simply have to wait and see.

After seeing her brilliant performance in BERNARDA ALBA, I was exploding with joy at the sight of this cast list.

I personally think she'll be a sensational Fantine and her "I Dreamed a Dream" will be one of the most beautiful times it's been performed.

Pssshhh, it'll either be great or a nightmare. Hopefully she'll have a new (good) interpretation, after all they're hoping to re-vamp it anyway.

Interesting. But, beacuse I only heard her on the Rent OBC. I'm going to not say anything. I wish her luck.

I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.
