A) I LOVED her in the role. I thought she was exciting and interesting and was the only one on that stage that I truly loved. It was a unique take on the role but I was digging it.
B) People were always talking about how weird/edgy her voice is. Go back and listen to that original CD we all have and wore out listening to over and over again. That chick that sings "On My Own"...that voice is JUST as weird and edgy. So I never understood why people had a problem with Daphne's nasally voice but Francis's voice is completely acceptable. Their UNIQUE voices and that's what makes them SPECIAL.
