Next to Normal would be really amazing, but I really want them to do Into the Woods!

I think Dogfight would work well, the repulsiveness of the competition would be heightened by the Marines finding and toying with deaf/hard-of hearing women. The 'Pretty Funny' would be heartbreaking.
I also see Carrie working with Carrie being unable to vocalise her angst and lack of knowledge about adolescence, her mother being a hearing parent unable to accept her deaf daughter and uses religion to 'fix' her, and the powers are a metaphor for the frustration and rage some deaf/hard of hearing have from being marginalised.
Bare might work too.

Oh wow, CARRIE is an idea. But I don't know what could fix the final version of that show...

Yeah the actual content of Carrie needs a fair bit of work/revision, but do I think it offers some very interesting thematic potential for a Deaf West production.

How about The Glass Menagerie with deaf actors as Amanda and Laura? I'd love to see them tackle something more intimate than the extravagant musicals they're (rightfully) known for.

I loved Andy Mientus' answer when Playbill asked him this:
"If I could direct anything for them, I’d want to tackle Hunchback. Quasimodo is deaf in the original novel and the stage adaption so signing would be natural and the story of Quasi and Esmerelda finding a bond across different worlds would really benefit. I also would kill to see Daniel Durant in the title role."

This would be FANTASTIC. It would be a fantastic show, and Hunchback could come to Broadway, which is so deserves to.

I don't care if they performed the dialogue in Morse code, just get the score of Hunchback on Broadway please. Thanks, Mr. Mientus!
