Denzel Washington Iceman Stage Door

Hi,

Has anybody been to see the Iceman Cometh as of late and know if Denzel uses the stage door?

From what I heard he exits another door and gets into a car within 5 minutes of show ending.

Yes I had read that aswell somewhere, obviously the shows 4 hours long so I can understand him wanting to get away ASAP without the hassle of signing things.

Just hoped I had the slightest of chances of getting my playbill signed, travelled from the uk to see the show tonight.

Yeah he leaves the official stage door that is also for the Golden Theatre and he doesn't usually stop, but I've heard of a few occasions him stopping to talk. It may depend on how long after the show it is, he probably won't stop if others are still waiting by the barricades as it would cause security chaos. He came out about 5 minutes after the show when I saw it two weeks ago.

Oh ok thank you, where is that stage door as you come out of the theatre?

Did you get lucky and he stop for you?

The official stage door is the to the left of the theatre and the left of the Golden Theatre. There aren't barricades but you should see his car waiting. He did not stop the night I waited.
