Plum, it was pretty crazy after Raisin in the Sun. I got standing room, so I was one of the first people out of the theatre, and there were already a bunch of people waiting. I figured I'd give it a go (more for Audra's autograph that Sean Combs) and by the time the actors started coming out it was CRAZY! I would have left if I could have gotten out. Audra only signed for a couple of people that were able to catch her attention (she seemed kind of surprised that anyone wanted her autograph). Anyway, yeah...it was nuts. There were TONS of people who weren't at the show that were going nuts (I was surounded by a really obnoxious group of teens from Canada, eh) I ended up getting his autograph (he seemed to only be signing Playbills, at least that's what it looked like to me) Shall be interesting to see what the crowd's like for Denzel!
But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)
