This was done over on the other message board a few years back.
If you had to spend the rest of your life on a deserted island with only 10 CD's to listen to, what would you pick and why?
Here's my list:
10 OCR-La Cage Aux Folles. No explanation needed.
2) OCR-Jekyll & Hyde. My other favorite musical.
3) It’s Time-My favorite album by my favorite female singer-Linda Eder
4) Encore-Russell Watson. Nice mix of classical pieces and contemporary pop.
5) Front Row Center-Steve Amerson. He is primarily a contemporary Christian singer but on this album he explores the spiritual side of show tunes.
6) The Finest Moments-Sandi Patty. The greatest hits of the diva of inspirational Christian Music
7) American Songbook-Sandi Patty. Classic American Pop plus a killer version of “How Great Thou Art.”
A Christmas Story-Point of Grace. Gotta have some Christmas music. This album by a quartet of 4 women with tight harmonies is the perfect mix of sacred and secular Christmas music.
9) Any CD w/ Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. My favorite piece of classical music. Wonderful to make love too…which I guess I don’t need it I’m going to be on a deserted island by myself…unless…never mind.
10) Soundtrack-Moulin Rouge. I can’t forget the movie musical.
