Who has seen him? What's it like having an african american play Tony?

Desmond Richardson is awesome as Tony!! I didn't see Keith Roberts, so I can't compare the two, but Desmond was great. I saw him in August during his second week as Tony and he was amazing! And hes so nice! I met him after the show and he was so friendly. Definately go see him!!!

He was absolutely incredible. I never saw Keith Roberts either, but I can definitely attest to the fact that Desmond worked his butt off up there and looked great! You can tell he puts a lot into his dancing, and he was also a really great guy when I met him! He personalized everyones playbills for them, and hung around to chat too.

curious as to what his being black has anything at all to do with his ability to dance in a ballet! Not trying to start a fight but Desmond is one of (if not the) best dancer we have on Broadway right now, and his ability to perform on stage has nothing to do with the color of his skin!
