Diamond Blush Group - Is this managing co any good?

I had an audition last week with Michael Raysor, manager for the company The Diamond Blush Group. It was a very weird and unprofessional audition, and I got the feeling that this guy doesn't really know how to work with actors or what actors specifically need from a manager (compared to models, music artists, ect). His company has only been around for three years. He doesn't have a lot of clients, and there isn't a lot of information on him online.

Does anyone know anything about this guy? I got a callback/interview, but I'm concerned that this may not only be a giant waste of time but possibly a scam, too.

Thanks!

Well, from a quick Google search, this is what I discovered:

1. The first result was this thread.
2. The second result was a Manta.com profile which seems to list the company's business address as Mr. Raysor's apartment, with an annual revenue of $61,000 and a staff of 1.
3. A cached version of their HotFrog profile leads to a now defunct official website.
4. The last relevant result linked to what is presumably an official website that appears to have been put together from a "small business website in a box" type concern, with crappy "profiles" for some of their clients and a website listing (apparently) Mr. Raysor as "Michael Anthony." (Nothing saying he can't use a professional pseudonym and a personal name, but with the above track record, it seems suspect to me.)

Now, this could mean nothing. He could just be newer at this specific company than his claimed 14-year track record. But to anyone else, it doesn't look good. I suspect as someone who was once in the same category that he's nothing more than a self-styled manager with more ambition than actual connections.

Exactly. He also has a facebook fan page that four people "like". It has broken links to both his company and personal sites. So far I'm not impressed.

At the audition, he decided to have everyone in the same room - people were walking in and out of the door during each others monologues, and he didn't care nor did he bother to hire a monitor. He also said that he was going to critique everyone's piece, which turned out to be him saying, "Ok that was... good.... umm.... yeah.... good....ok, who's next?" And when he spoke about his company he didn't really seem that concerned about sending clients out on auditions - isn't getting your clients work supposed to be top priority? If it's not a scam, I think that it's a guy who just doesn't know what he's doing.

The interviews are going to be held at his office, which I believe is an apartment building. That kinda concerns me. Definitely would not go there alone.

Bring your best built, strongest male friend. The kind of guy who could at least convince others that it would take minimal effort for him to tear the brick ****house door off a tuna boat. Every opportunity is worth pursuing, but this looks sketchy, so if you really need the job, go, but not without protection.
