Did ROOMS: A Rock Romance open?

I had heard that this Paul Scott Goodman musical was opening at New World Stages in December after its run in DC. I've been searching online and can't seem to find any current info about it - does anybody know?

I've heard that Rooms is very much alive, looking for a mid-late winter opening in NY. I hope this is true since I never made it to DC last Summer to see it.

Is this the same ROOMS that was at NYMF back in 05?

I know casting calls have gone out. When it was in Rochester, it was aiming for NYC around mid-November to early December.

You know, there was no connection in my head between a November-December opening and the fact that it is now January. Seriously, they seemed totally unrelated. Wow. It IS January.

The last I heard, Doug Kreeger was going to continue in the role of Ian ( and he is fabulous, btw), but they were looking for a new Monica. I have my fingers crossed that Rooms will still run. It's a great show. The kind where the music gets stuck in your head for a long time.
