Did Wicked ever preview in the U.K?

Im having a huge arguement with my friend, she reckons that her cousin saw a preview of Wicked, full show in full dress etc when her cousin was 17 and now she is 21 so about 4 years ago, she apparently went by invite only and schwartz was there.....

now i dont believe this ever happened....can anyone clarify this rumour?????

Four years ago the show would have been in its very, very first stages. There is no way that she saw anything even remotely close to the show as it is now.
