Posted: 6/7/04 at 8:42pmI missed the Tony's but thanks to you lovely, positively explicit people, I feel like I didn't. Plus, my friend recorded it. So with due time, I too will see the Tony's. But, I am still curious, did anyone else miss the Tony's?

SO much talk about the Tonys here and elsewhere on theater boards...how on earth could anyone have missed them?
Don't worry...you didn't miss much. LOVED some of the choices for awards but thought the broadcast was rife with technical problems and BORING as all get out.
And speaking of GET OUT -- Nicole...there's the door!

And Hugh's performance from THE BOY FROM OZ ( including the impromptu dance with Sarah Jessica Parker) - it's likely that this scene from the TONYs was what bumped the show to near-100.0% sell-out at the box office.
Being another overseas Broadway follower, I also missed the actual telecast but a friend has generously sent me a tape right away.
