Just curious. I searched and couldn't find anything, so did anyone here see her as either Sheila or Cassie? How was she?

I didn't see her, but I can see her making a fantastic Sheila.

I can't picture her Cassie, but yeah, her Sheila must have been a fierce bitch.
She said in her Chatterbox that Michael Bennett was afraid to even touch her Sheila.
I saw her as Sheila, but not as Cassie. Neuwirth was very good, better than most of the Sheilas I've seen, but no one has ever played the role as well as Kelly/Carole Bishop. She was dynamite. Sorry.
Why did you say sorry? I never said that I thought she was going to be the best.
Reflexive action. I used to be Catholic.
Awwww, thanks!
Carole Bishop! Gilmore Girls!
That's why I couldn't find her on IBDB. Why'd she change her name to Kelly?
Because there was already a Carole Bishop in SAG, or one of the other Screen Actors unions when she went to join after her A CHORUS LINE success.
I saw here as Sheila - she was great. I had seen the show several times by that point and I remembered her name afterwards.
i saw her play cassie... both cassie and sheila were out that day (along with about 5 other cast members) and i guess they decided to put her on as cassie. this was pre-frasier/charity and i had no idea who she was yet i remembering watching her and thinking 'this girl would be much better as sheila' lol
Hah, yeah. I have a hard time picturing her playing Cassie, especially since she was like 20, but I bet she danced the hell out of The Music and the Mirror.

I saw Bebe play Cassie twice in 1990. After the show closed on B'way, an independent production launched at the Las Palmas Theatre in LA, trying to settle in for a long run, but lasting about three months. Something happened early w/the Cassie in that production and they got Bebe to step in. The theatre was small (about 250 seats?). I didn't really know her cuz I was never into Cheers, so my opinion wasn't colored by star-gazing, but I thought she was fantastic. She was overtly funnier than most Cassies, when she describes her time in H'wood, but the undercurrent is that she's covering up her nervousness at being in the place she is w/Zach, and that she really, really wants to dance again. She had the maturity she probably lacked in the 70s. And she danced the hell out of it.
On a side note, a couple of years later I saw her as Velma opposite Juliet Prowse in Long Beach. Loved her then, too.
