Directions!!! Please help!!!

Can anyone tell me where the Clearview Ziegfeld theater is?! is it on 54th street between 7th and 6th? if I go straight down 7th like comming from Penn Station...do I turn at 54th and I'm there? Please help!!

The streets are numbered around here...somehow I think you'll be able to find it.

Yes I know the streets are numbered. I'm not that stupid. But I do have a time limit and it would be helpful to know if I can just go down 7th and turn onto 54th.

Why wouldn't you be able to? YES. You can do that.

In any case, my point is that you should be able to find directions without having to make a whole thread on this board.

Rule of thumb for crosstown streets in Manhattan although it is not absolutely always the case:

E as in EVEN and EAST(bound).

One of the best NY rules I was ever told.

Thanks! Good rule. Although I know my way around Broadway pretty well...I was just unsure. considering im not taking the train which i usually do...im driving. Thanks for the help!!

I hope you aren't planning on driving this week...lol. There are going to be around 100,000 extra cars in the city. The are encouraging people to take public transportation. As for your directions, go to mapquest. You can print out a map of the area. I have a handy dandy GPS system that gets me around the city.
