Whatever happened to Claudia Shear? She was everywhere for awhile with "Blown Sideways Through Life" and "Dirty Blonde".
I think a revival of "Dirty Blonde" might be fun, even if it's just off-Broadway.
FYI: Dirty Blonde is one of the few shows where the entire cast was nominated for Tony Awards (it helps that there were only three in the cast).

She wrote the book for the Broadway-bound musical TUCK EVERLASTING and wrote and starred in a new play at New York Theater Workshop a few years back. She certainly hasn't faded away, although I imagine she could live very comfortably for the rest of her life on her DIRTY BLONDE royalties. It still continues to be one of the most frequently produced plays in the country.

I LOVED Dirty Blonde. Saw it in London with an audience of barely 80 people but Ms Shear and her colleagues still gave it 110%. A gorgeous show.
