I love whoever wrote the synopsis.
This is towards the end of it:
"Broken hearted, Christine takes a job as a governess to a group of Austrian children, teaches them to sing and flees a band of pursuing Nazis over the Alps. Freddy awakens, realizes Christine is gone, goes mad and (with Andre and Muriel's help) opens a combination barbershop/pie emporium, as Lawrence sadly leaves Anatevka for a new life in America.
"Actually, if you've seen the show, you'll realize this isn't exactly what happens, so please feel free to read on. If you haven't seen it yet, rather than ruin a few ensuing plot twists, stop right here, go order your tickets (preferably at full price), enjoy, then come back and continue"
Then the rest of the synopsis.
opens a combination barbershop/pie emporium
Priceless!
The opposite of creation isn't war, it's stagnation.

I read that yesterday and just cracked up... I hope the music justifies the liner notes (sadly, I have not found time to listen yet)...

Posted: 5/11/05 at 11:38pmThe linear notes are just as good as as track 17 of "A Message from John Lithgow. "Please buy your tickets, preferably at full-price, I have children in college, a mortage, and I am a bit of a clothes horse..Thank you" HAHA...I love it!

"I am a bit of a clothes horse"
Sorry I am not American. What does this mean?
#7re: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Liner Notes
Posted: 5/12/05 at 12:37amIt means someone really likes to buy clothes, usually infering expensive and uneccessary clothing.

"opens a combination barbershop/pie emporium"
Now I wonder what in the world that could refer to....
Yeah, I thought the notes were better than the CD lol - no, I didn't.
But that "go buy your tickets..." is from John's message (which is great)
