Ha-ha. Told 'ya (not you personnally) that this was going to happen. And I'll bet anyone a drink at Sardi's that I'll be able to get a good half-price Orchestra seat at TKS the day of the performance (in my case, September 20, 2008 matinee).
Amen.
I knew this was going to be a tough sell.
I don't know about you guys, but award winning UK talent is enough for me to get a ticket.

I'm not saying you shouldn't go, but why spend all the money (plus surcharges/shipping/handling/etc., etc.) when you could get a reasonably-priced ticket before hand? I mean, if money is no object, then go ahead. I'm speaking for the poor folk (like me) where every penny counts.
verynewyorkcurious, I know that this is an acclaimed production.
I was just referring to those who jumped and paid full price when there were obviously going to be discount codes out before previews began.
I'll be getting a ticket, but I'm not going to pay more than I have to.
Chekhov is a tough sell to the masses.
