None that I know of. There's still a great deal of discussion about whether or not it's coming to NY.

Schuhmacher did an interview in a German musicalmagazine and told the interviewer, that the book is rewritten and that the rights of the show will be available for theaters. He also stated that Disney won't bring it to Broadway.
Greetings from Germany
It's such a shame. Disney has the opportunity to bring a legitimate musical (based on one of its properties) to Broadway. Instead, they insist on giving us glorified puppet shows and theme part attractions like The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.
Der Glockner is GORGEOUS, and (English or not) one of my favorite cast recordings.
There are recordings of the US workshops. The entire show was written in English first so all that material does exist. I've read the English book it's pretty good.
I love, love, love, LOVE this show. Can't say it enough. Bring it to effing Broadway already...and put Drew Sarich back as Quasimodo so he can win a Tony.
Absolutely, Eponine! This recording was my introduction to Drew, and I fell in love instantly.
I would love to see this show! But I bet Disney thinks that it's not marketable. After all, the original movie only made $100 million and only sold a gazillion videos, DVDs, and was only turned into a crappy sequel.
This show has a bit too much integrity for a typical Disney show actually. I wish there was some way to take the music and book away from Disney and produce it...I know it can't be done, but I really wish it could. It makes me so mad that their just sitting on top of this accidentally brilliant show and refuse to let it out.
I love everything about Glockner. If Disney on Broadway doesn't want it, hopefully soon they'll let some place like NSMT or Theatre of the Stars do it.
If the rights were released for it to be done in English...couldn't an someone just get the rights and produce it on Broadway? That would be pretty hilar.
Disney would still need to grant the rights. It'd be their choice. If they weren't going to lose any money themselves, this might.

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the recording to this show. I checked amazon and they only have one copy for around $65.00. Thanks!
^Tenderloin's about that much too. Outrageous.
I got mine at Tower for about $20 six years ago. Check Footlight to see if they have anything before they close up their site. Also check Colony.
It is a beautiful score. It cuts "Court of Miracles" from the film, but there are many new songs.

I wish they would've brought it to Broadway, or at least done that planned TV movie. The score of the movie is beautiful, and it's such a fantastic story.

Quasi do you mean that the rights for the show will be availible for regional theaters to do?

You never know where you may find something.
Started listening to it only yesterday and love everything about it, why Disney has not let this see the light of day is beyond me.
Lets hope that one day it might make it to Broadway, West End, anything would be better than the Lion King
Fosse, check you PM's
Plus, it's another Victor Hugo musical.
It truly is a beautiful production, what they did with the set design is just out of this world! So much more innovative than many of the Disney shows in the past 10 years.
Blame Disney though for it not coming over to Broadway. They wanted to change the ending to be "happy" and Stephen Schwartz and the other people weren't budging with their insistance that it stay the way it was in Germany. I'd rather the integrity of the show be preserved the way it was than have it come over here and be completely changed (I always felt the movie was too happy of an ending as well).
Aside from that, I honestly don't know if they would have been able to bring the show to Broadway. They built a theater in Berlin specifically for the show because of the extensive set design. I can't think of theater that would have the room avaliable to pull it off without scaling it down significantly which in turn would make it lose a lot. Such a shame really.

I would rather have no hunchback than have a happy hunchback.
I suppose that they could do an "Aida" or "Wicked" esque ending...
But I agree. The movie ending didn't really fit.
This should have been at the Richard Rodgers instead of "Tarzan"!

Yes thats what he has said in the interview. After the book is rewritten the show shall be available for regional theaters worldwide. The interview was made after the opening night of Tarzan in Holland.
