Jim Hill (Disney columnist) published an intriguing article.
It seems Disney has purchased some domain names that might be of interest to Broadway patrons:
DISNEYSTARZANMUSICAL.COM
TARZANTHEMUSICAL.COM
TARZANMUSICAL.COM
TARZANBROADWAY.COM
TARZANONBROADWAY.COM
TARZANONTOUR.COM
All for TARZAN.
DISNEYSMARYPOPPINS.COM
MARYPOPPINSTHEMUSICAL.NET
MARYPOPPINSBROADWAY.COM
MARYPOPPINSTOUR.COM
All for MARY POPPINS.
And more shockingly is the fact that this past June 26, Disney purchased the domain PIPPINTHEMOVIE.COM!!!!!!!
Could it be that the Disney/Miramax split rumored to have cause them to dump the project is false? Is Disney planning to pick the project back up??
Here's the article:

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
