It seems Disney has purchased some domain names that might be of interest to Broadway patrons:

And more shockingly is the fact that this past June 26, Disney purchased the domain PIPPINTHEMOVIE.COM!!!!!!!

Could it be that the Disney/Miramax split rumored to have cause them to dump the project is false? Is Disney planning to pick the project back up??

Would Pippin be produced by Disney or by Miramax? In Disney hands we'd probably end up having Wayne Cilento choreograph...

The domain was registered by Disney...so one would presume Disney would be doing it. However, it's possible Miramax could still be brought on to co-produce as well.

Wasn't this a personal project of Harvey Weinstein, though?

Just performed a whois on the domain.

A company "TuCows" is the registrar. Do they work for Disney?
