Just wondering, when you audition do you have a conversation with the people who are judging you? I have heard that you should strike up a conversation with the people, so they know you are confident and friendly. Yet, I do not know what to say to them besides "Hello my name is ____, and I will be singing ____.
Anyone have any stories they would like to share to impress the people? Thanks.
There is no hard and fast rules on this as each audition panel is different. If you start up a conversation they might also think that you are pushy. I think it's best to speak when you are spoken to and answer any questions that are asked.
