Do You Agree With This Statement?

This is something that was uttered about Sutton Foster at the stage door before she came out.

"She's the female Adam Pascal."

Do you agree? I'm not sure I do. I always considered Idina to be more of the female Adam Pascal. Sutton Foster is amazing, but I can't really equate her with Adam Pascal. They're just so different!

I love them both, but I can't put the two of them in the same category. they're both amazing, but very different.

I don't agree. Sutton is a musical theater actress. Adam was a rocker who wound up in theater. There is more i have to say but i have to go. ANywho i don't agree with that person.

Well, I find Foster to be much more all-around talented than Pascal.

She's a triple threat.
So far, he's just a good singer with passable acting.
Although, HE is the one with a cult following, so...

Well they're totally different I think. I see Idina as the female Adam as well. I see Sutton as Sutton...I definitely agree StickToPriest...she's definitely a triple threat. He seems to be more about the music.

NOT AT ALL. THAT PISSES ME OFF. Sutton,first of all, is in a category all of her own. Her acting ability surpasses those on the circuit right now. And she sings HEALTHILY...with amazing strength.

I agree with everyone. She's just in a completely different category. I've had the chance to see them both perform (Sutton multiple times) and I think she's an all-around better performer. Maybe because she's getting more famous with Little Women, so they're comparing her stage door following to Adam's.

I agree with zippyjen. I'm an Adam fan, but I admit that his acting is not first-rate and his dance skills are just passable. Sutton is a singing, dancing, acting triple threat.

But Adam is still hot. (Oh, come on, I get ONE fangirling moment a day, don't I?)

Depends if it's good or bad.

Depends on if you're talking about vocals. If you are, then I see no similarities, other than that people enjoy listening to both of them sing. They come from totally different vocal backgrounds, and have totally different vocal abilities.

If you're talking about fan followings, I guess it's similar, but Adam's is way more rabid.

If you're talking about looks... well, maybe. I've seen way more comments about people wanting to sleep with Adam Pascal than I have about people wanting to sleep with Sutton Foster. They're both good looking people, but in general, the public eye seems to view Sutton is a very different way.

If you're talking about acting abilities.... erm, I love you Adam, but no way. He's not an award-winning actor, no matter which way you slice your proverbial cake.

If you're talking about being overrated, then yes, there are people who belong to that camp concerning both of them.

So, yeah. I suppose my point is that it completely depends on the capacity in which they're comparing them. That said, it's an awfully strange comparison anyway.

And hey now. If I see Adam bashing on this thread, someone's going to be in serious trouble!

adam's dance moves are not passable no matter how much i love that man!! Sutton is a theater based performer and Adam is a rocker more than anything. As for mamma mia, i hope it closes and all those people find other jobs!!

I've never seen Adam perform in person. I must say that I would kill to have seen him as the Emcee.

I don't see how. Maybe the person who was saying it was a really big Adam Pascal fan and by saying, "She's the female Adam Pascal," she was saying "I love her as much as I love Adam."

They both have very devoted fan followings, though. Adam has more, definitely, and they're certainly more vocal about their Adam love but BLESS you if you ever cross a rabid Sutton fan.

He was actually amazing in cabaret. His acting was far superior in that than in aida in my opinion. Not to mention he was very sexy. :)

He was great in Cabaret. And yeah, I'm a huge Sutton fan. If you say she's bad, I will chop your head off. I've almost done it before.
