I was wondering if the salary is weekly or per show? If the actor is out due to illness or personal needs, are they docked?
Do actors get paid for time off?

Like any other full-time job, they get personal, sick, and vacation days.

Like many other professions, member states of AEA get an allotment of paid sick days per year. Personal days or sick days in excess of the allowance are not paid. On Broadway, the weekly salary is split into eights to determine how much salary is docked in one of these instances.
