Just curious... cuz I love different trivia games that make you think and get involved in the game. It'd be fun with a game with Broadway trivia, but no idea if they make one.

Anyone know?

I've never seen one which is what makes this board so imperative. Its a board game without parts to misplace.

There should be a Broadway Monopoly but its appeal would be limited

Chance - Advance to Palace Theater
Comm Chest - You Invested in DOTV - Lose $ 100,000
You Invested in The Fantastiks - Make $ 100,000
You invest in a Wildhorn show - All players give
$ 10 K each

Instead of Boardwalk - Shubert Alley

Properties - Bubba Gump,Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock

Jail is now TKTS

I have a HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING board game - made in 1964. I found it in a thrift shop for 2 dollars. The playing pieces are little men in suits with brief cases. The object of the game, of course, is to get from the mailroom to Chairman of the Board.

That is worth a few bucks. I used to have a Perry Mason game but no idea what happened to it. I wish I still had all my board games & baseball cards

It wouldn't be too hard to make a Broadway monopoly game yourself. I'll look into putting a sample together of the actual board, though we might have to work together to make enough Chance cards and such. And of course, no one can tell Parker Brothers or Milton-Bradley or whoever owns the game...

I just pulled up a graphic of the board, and it has 22 properties, while Broadway has about twice that many theaters...I think that just demotivated me completely from this project.

I too have that broadway game mentioned earlier. It's pretty intense, lots of strategy involved. Plus tiny pegs you have to keep track of.

My sister and I played it all the time.

Have you ever played the movie game? Well my friends and I like to turn it into the Broadway Game(studying IBDB comes in handy!)

You start off with the name of an actor and then the next person has to name a show that the person was in. Then the next person has to name another actor from that show... then name another show that actor is in... you just keep going around in circles and when someone is stumped they are out.

example: The Boy From Oz - Hugh Jackman - Beauty and the Beast - Susan Egan

It's alot of fun :) and of course you can make your own rules (OBC only if you want more of a challenge)

maybe we could create "BROADWAY SCENE-IT"

SCENE IT games are a lot of fun, but kinda expensive

there should totally be a Broadway scene it! I've always thought that. I wonder if there is a way to suggest it to the game company.
