Adam is so cute...

Sounds great, TWF, glad you liked it. And I'm glad he took the note down. If he can't hit it, changing beats cracking.

re: Does Adam...?

Everyone ALWAYS gasps when Amneris comes out from behind the wall. It's kind of funny. I'm surprised he took it down... maybe he's finally giving in?

re: Does Adam...?

Taking it down isn't necessarily a bad thing. I wonder why he started cracking regularly? Can any of you singers enlighten me?

re: Does Adam...?

Speaking of first timers...when I saw it there was this guy who had to not only be a first timer but the most CLUELESS person ever. He made really loud reaction noises all through the show, and when the lights went down for the transition between the tomb and the museum he said really loudly "They DIE? That's so stupid!" And this was from the second row...

Other stupid moments: I've seen that show 6 times and at least three times I've heard people go, during Written in the Stars,

"Oohhhhhhh!!!! This is that Elton John song!"

Undiscovered, lovely icon, just lovely

Great review! Emcee we may need to rethink his nickname lol. Moms CAN get away with anything, i need to go back to AIDA and bring my mother...

When i saw AIDA last time there were these old people behind me. You know, the ones that need a mint in the middle of a scene and spend 5 minutes opening it and fumbling with the wrapper. Well when Amneris came out from behind the wall the one lady said (in normal speaking voice mind you) "The plot thickens!" It was funny, yet not at the same time. Also, when the guards come looking for Aida and the one swings the sword over a girls head she said "Ah!" She didnt gasp, she just said Ah. *sigh* o well.
Though scattered and divided we are still its heart...AIDA SEPTEMBER 5th, 2004...one more longing backward glance... I AM NOW "TGIF!"

re: Does Adam...?

Ooh, maybe I should write him. I saw him about two years ago in Aida and, as my friends will say, just about hyperventilated in the third row I was so excited. And I rushed out with my friend to the stage door and he didn't come out. ;_;

re: Does Adam...?

Hehe...that is so cool! I still love the guy, but I don't follow the show like I did two years ago. Didn't you go to see RENT originally for Joey? And now you're a full-fledged Broadway groupie? That is so beautiful :)

re: Does Adam...?

yea i was kinda a broadway groupie already but the show made me more of one and i go back when ever i can haha.

Undiscovered, the mayor REALLY said that? That's amazing.

TGITF, why are we rethinking this? Do I want to know? lol!

re: Does Adam...?

I'm going to see Aida in about a week and am really looking forward to seeing Adam (fondly reffered to as the lust of my life hehe) and was wondering when the best/ most respectful time to meet him would be (i.e. before the show, or after). I have read your guys posts and LTE said the stagedoor hand told her she must meet him before the show and I was wondering if that was for every show or just that specific one. I am also wondering, if I go before, what time to get there so i don't miss him. In addition, I was reading it being rumored that he doesn't come out after shows anymore? Thanks to anyone in advance who can be of any help.

re: Does Adam...?

Thank you for calming my fears.

re: Does Adam...?

I've been hearing it's getting kind of iffy with him after the shows... maybe because he has two little kids to get home to?
Anyway, it's worth a shot. If you go before, get there an hour and a half before curtain. Have fun!
