I personally think Chicago, Mama Mia AND Phantom should be laid to rest lol
I know they are making money and keeping people employed, BUT it's shows like these MANY Tourists are coming to see because they don't know any better. There are other, newer shows out there being avoided....

It's statements like this that hit me where I live. What a shame that there are thousands of people who are craving just one shot at this type of opportunity and will never get it because someone is just phoning in a performance to pay the rent.
As for Chicago, the last couple of times I've seen it, it's been sold out. And I think the cast you see it with makes a world of difference. Donna Marie Asbury was Velma back in September and she brought the house down. Enough said.
