Does anyone know when Sutton will be back in Anything Goes?

Hey all! I haven't seen Anything Goes since I was living in NYC last year (before the Tony's) and I have tickets to see it on Saturday night the 28th.. I am a little worried though because Sutton is directing Drowsy Chaperone at Ball State which doesn't open until February.. Then again it would be horrible business practice to have her out of the show for an extended period of time without some sort of posting about it when purchasing tickets -- after all she is the star! =) Has anyone heard when she will be back? Thanks!

From what I understand she should be back this week, and is taking absence from Jan 31 to feb 9 but this ISN'T confirmed.

I agree it's poor form of the producers not to have made an announcement, much of the success of this revival is due to her name. I'm actually coming from Australia to Broadway and have withheld buying ticket's until I have found out an answer, after all I won't get the opportunity to see her in the show except for this trip.

I love in the West End that any days that the cast will be off due to leave/vacation are published on a show website, even if it is only a day or two that the absence is scheduled. It's just a courtesy to people who are paying for a certain performer (and it gives the chance those wanting to see a certain understudy the opportunity to do so!) Updated On: 1/17/12 at 01:24 AM

Yeah if anyone can find out if she is back tomorrow I would love to know! And cirque it is amazing show - you will love it! Especially if you are a Sutton fan! It would be really nice to know however when people are going to be out of the show for 3+ days -- especially when their body is on the marquee hahaha.. Kind of like Daniel Radcliffe or Darren Criss in H2$.

Can't wat to see it, but a big part of my reason for wanting to see it is because of Sutton, haven't had the opportunity before so would like to see what all the fuss is about!

Sutton is wonderful in the role.

Just checked Telecharge.com for those dates - 1/31 - 2/9, and nothing is there indicating that she'll be out. Just have to keep checking.

I saw Tari on Sunday and I loved her interaction with her castmates in the Act 1 finale. She kind of reminded me of Carol Burnett with her antics in "Gypsy in Me" in Act 2.

So good news everyone -- one of the new ensemble cast members just tweeted that he is excited to dance with Sutton tomorrow, meaning she must be coming back.

Just wanted to bump this up and hear if there were any updates on performances that Sutton has been at. Wondering the likelihood that she will be at the matinee tomorrow. Thanks!
