im going to see wicked in boston in April and i was wondering, is it worth stage dooring...i have never srage doored before. i dont know if anyone even does in boston so...? thanks!!!
I can't help you (never been to Boston), but I'd like to know the same thing about Atlanta.
I have stage doored, Sweet Charity and Little Shop of course there is a stage door where fans wait at the Opera house its amazing.
Hi - I have stage-doored Mamma Mia and Little Shop at the Colonial. The colonial SD is right around the corner from the theater (next to Emerson Maj.) so it is easy to get to (and the people there were really nice to talk to). I recall that anytime I have gone to the stage door there were very few people there.
If I remember correctly the SD for the Opera House is a long walk from where the main entrance is. I think it is next to the loading dock to the hotel behind the theater. It was wierd to get to because there are a few alleyways before you get to the alley that leads to the door. Your best bet is to plot out where it is beforehand and wait at the entrance to the alley. They all come out the same way if I recall. Besides, I believe the alleyway isn't lit all that well so you might want to wait closer to the street. Have fun!!
i stage doored the graduate a few years back.

I've stage doored at the Wang Center. It's around the corner, about halfway down the block. But I don't think that's where Wicked is playing, surprisingly.
If you're stage dooring for Wicked, especially in a big city like Boston, there is sure to be a crowd at the stage door.
