I am super interested! I have just recently started a vinyl collection of Broadway records. I only have a few and am hungry to find as many as I can! Looking forward to what you have listed - I will probably take every single one if you let me! Thanks so much.

Ok, I have the list typed up and ready to post.


There are about 80 or so LPs. I'd say that 74 of them are in excellent condition and I have noted this next to each title. The other ones are in good, but definitely used condition. I've noted that too.


This isn't about $$ for me, I know what it's like to be a collector. I honestly didn't realize how many of you guys are vinyl collectors, and I'm really happy knowing that these will bring some joy.

Having said that, there is postage to consider. I'm not gonna ask for it up front, I'm just going to slip a paper inside everyone's package with the amount I paid to ship it to you and my paypal info. Hopefully you all will be cool enough to deposit the amount into my paypal account.

One final survey:

Should we put a limit on how many any one person can take? I'm gonna go with whatever the majority rules, post your thoughts here.

I'll post the list at 8:00 PM.

If you have decided to put a limit on what one person can take I'll make that clear as well.

I got a lot of requests and there was very little overlap so everyone got a lot of what they wanted.

It's really been a pleasure! I'm so delighted that they will go to people and actually mean something.

Even with the number of requests I got everyone got something and most got their first choice.

Just for the record (lame pun intended):

The most requested album was a Sweeney Todd with 33 requests.

A Little Night Music, Company, and Merrily all got between 18 and 25 requests.

Hey gang,

I'll save myself the trouble of PMing everyone individually and just post an update here:

1)I had to order some special record shipping boxes from FingerPop (what an awful name!).
As soon as they come in I'll pack and ship everyone's LPs out.

2)I've gotten a lot of PMs about Bar Mitzvah Boy since we discovered that it was worth so much money. I appreciate the interest, but I am donating that one to BC/EFA so they can sell it for charity.

3)I discovered another box of LPs! I'll be giving those away too, and I'll post that list when I have a chance to go through it.

And a final thought:

A day after I did this another poster mentioned he had recently acquired a recording (one that was never even released apparently) of an old show that I have been looking for forever. He was kind enough to send me a copy, which put me over the moon! Coincidence? I prefer to think of it as karma.
