Okay, I officially have to get my butt there next month. It just seems like so much fun. And now that I know the next show is on the 26th, thanks to the Zipper Factory's website, I definitely want to make overnight plans since Maroon 5 is going to be on GMA the next morning. :)

It was my first time back at DQYNJ in a very very long time, and was so excited to have been there last night. Everything was hysterical - Brian was amazing. Funny funny guy. Can't wait for the 2 year show next month. I can't believe it's been that long!

The symphony was from audience-suggested "name an off-broadway or broadway show, past or present to give the Tony award to." The ones I can remember off the top of my head are: Julia Murney - Urinetown, Brian d'Arcy James - The Wedding Singer, Max Crumm - Starlight Express, Derrick Baskin - Aida, Laura Osnes - something about honeybees?, J. Elaine Marcos - Glory Days (and someone else had Glory Days too), Christopher Gattelli-Shotun the musical, Sarah Saltzberg - Private Lives the original
And as a side note, my suggestion got read at the beginning by Sarah, but no one did it in the symphony - I wrote - DQYNJ!

I saw Brian D'arcy James on youtube singing everything and anything. I can't wait to see the other vids/pictures.

I have no idea why my summary of the show was deleted, I thought youtube links were allowed to noncopyrighted material? Sheesh. Will have to redo a summary when I find out what is allowed to be posted.

Yay! So I am officially going this month. :) I purchased my ticket, and booked a room, or should I say bed (LOL!), in a hostel nearby. Then the next morning I am off to Bryant Park to see Maroon 5. And I have no idea what else. I need to figure that out since I know I have a few hours to kill before the show, and probably some time on Friday before I need to catch the bus home.
