Donna Vivino returning to Wicked!!!!!

Donna Vivino is returning to Wicked ladies and gentlemen. She will temporary standby for Elphaba from August 23rd to September 25th. On September 27th, Donna Vivino comes alive as the green girl we all came to love. Wicked on Broadway, the best Elphaba (besides Stephanie J. Block) is about to shine at the Gershwin Theater.

It is not going to be announced yet because she's just a standby so that we won't probably here about until then but on Donna's personal facebook and twitter, three have been hinting to the fact that she is returning to Wicked in the Broadway company.
Also, someone in an acting class taught by her released information that she is returning to Wicked and will be standby for a short time and then takeover once Teal leaves.
I know this is not a "source" but with Donna's facebook and twitter page hinting it and on wicked cast lists, for the past week or two it has said it and has not been deleted and the person who personally spoke with Donna, I'm pretty sure she will be green in a couple weeks.

The Oz Wikia is notoriously unreliable, but seeing as how the info has not been taken down and Donna has not denied anything....here's hoping I will be in NYC on 9/27 to welcome her to the Gershwin stage!

A source close to Donna says she will be the standby on Broadway, but there is no word on if she is taking over full time.

She answered someone's tweet question by saying that she was taking over as standby but no plans on taking over for teal

The people I know who saw her in the tour said she was fantastic. I have had a standby every time I have seen the show... Really wish I could have seen Donna Vivino.

I have tix to see it again --- end of November. I hope Donna is performing at that time, judging from the posts, she sounds very good---I've only seen it with Idina, Eden (loved their performances) and another performer (in the early spring---don't remember the name---she was a standby)

There have been lead Elphabas who became standbys later. Dee Rsocioli served as a temporary standby in the San Fracisco production after being the lead Elphaba in Chicago. Carmen Cusack, who was a lead Elphaba in the 1st National tour, served as a temporary standby in the Melbourne production. I wonder if Donna is just going to be a temporary standby on Broadway.

The only person's name being tossed around as a lead Elphaba on Broadway is Jackie Burns, but that is it.

Didnt want to have to start a new thread so:
I read on a few topics on this board, that Donna isn't credited as the Broadway standby in the playbill. Does anyone know why?

^That's correct. She opted to have a larger insert with her headshot and bio when she goes on.

Lisa Brescia opted for this as well.

Laura Bell Bundy did the same as well when she was stand-by for Kristen.

I'm pretty sure Donna doesn't even have her name listed on the call board in the lobby. (At least I didn't see it.)

^ Nope, it's not on the callboard either. It's also not in the cast insert for the program or on the Wicked website.
